A child sits on a green crocheted afghan, babbling to herself in a soft singsong voice. She is dressed in blue overalls with a duck on the bib, and her feet are bare. She pounces, and captures the toes of one foot with both hands. She squeals with delight and reaches for the other foot, but misses and loses her balance. Her father, working at his computer nearby, looks down quickly and watches with a smile as she laboriously pushes herself upright again and resumes her contemplation of her toes.
